On March 19, 2005, Quantico Orienteering Club members Dave Onkst, Sam Listwak, Tom Stat, Andy Strat, Jon Torrance, Peggy Dickison and Nadim Ahmed explored this park which is situated west of Thurmont, MD; about 65 miles west and north of Washington, D.C.
